The Team
Alex
Alex is currently MD for a tech start-up with a background in sales and 10+ years in events management.
Witnessing high levels of stress and burnout inspired her to leave her corporate job and start a corporate wellness business in 2017 called Pauze. For four years, she dedicated herself to urging employers to actively invest in their employees' well-being which led her to consult for a company that she now works at.
With her background in event management, Alex derives the greatest joy from curating and hosting unique, memorable experiences. Alex firmly believes that a significant aspect of soul healing arises from shared experiences that cultivate deep connections and a profound sense of belonging.
In 2014, Alex embarked on her journey of self-discovery, leaving her job to explore personal development in India. Since then, she's embraced various modalities to enhance well-being and self-awareness. Today, she holds certifications as a yoga teacher in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow accredited by the Yoga Alliance, an Indian head massage therapist from CNM, and a Reiki Master. Alex has completed specialised training in breathwork, Transformational Breath, a practice that consistently guides her back to her centre. Additionally, she has undertaken a foundation course in astrology and naturopathy. As she continues to explore new avenues for growth, her journey includes ongoing training in breathwork.
Alex's journey intertwined with Kate's in a serendipitous encounter as they co-managed a boutique therapy space in the heart of Holland Park, aptly named A Place to Heal. Over three years, they organised group retreats, and their collaboration unveiled a shared passion for retreats, as they realised how their work ethics and backgrounds harmonised seamlessly. This shared dedication blossomed into Retreat Partners, a project deeply rooted in their desire to nurture people's dreams, collaborate with kindred spirits, and facilitate experiences that leave lasting impressions on the human heart.
Kate
Kate is currently enjoying motherhood, working for The Arrigo Programme and consulting practitioners on their retreats.

After reaching a crossroads in her career, she decided to throw caution to the wind, and embark on a personal discovery journey around the world.
